The mother of the McDonald’s worker who was shot in the neck in a dispute over cold fries told The Post Wednesday that she hasn’t been able to rest like she did the little son is fighting to stay alive.

“I’m really not ready for this,” the mother, who did not give her name, said at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, where her son, Matthew Jeremiah Webb, is in critical condition after the shooting Monday night.

“I just go back and forth with so many flashes in my mind. My mind is not stable.

Webb’s mother said she thinks he needs a “stronger family around me” as she prays for her son, 23, and waits for news.

At the hospital Wednesday morning, the distraught mother asked a pastor to pray with her son in the hospital room.

“I’m barely resting. I’m so tired, I have to call someone,” said the mother.

She declined to update the post on her son’s condition, but police said he remained in critical condition as of Wednesday morning.

Webb worked at the McDonalds at 1531 Fulton St. in Bed-Stuy Monday when he was allegedly shot by Michael Morgan, 20, around 7 p.m. on the sidewalk outside the chain.

Morgan, 20, was charged late Tuesday with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, authorities said. 18-year-old Camelia Dunlap – Morgan’s girlfriend – was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon after she admitted to cops that she gave the gun to her friend, law enforcement sources said.

The alleged shooter came to the McDonald’s after his mother, Lisa Fulmore, got into an argument with Webb after she was served cold fries.

Fulmore started harassing workers for french fries and when she was laughed at for asking to speak to a manager, her son burst into the restaurant to defend his mother, she told The Post in an exclusive interview. At one point, Webb walked outside the restaurant and is believed to have been shot by Morgan.

“My son just says he has to do what he has to do, etc [victim] came after him and whatever happened happened,” Fulmore said.

Law enforcement sources noted that the victim had no prior arrests and there was no indication that he was carrying a weapon when he was shot.

Morgan has been arrested several times before, including for grand theft in 2019 and assault and theft of service in 2018, police sources said.
