The CERN team is once again running 24/7 experiments at the newly upgraded Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland. Maximilien Brice/CERN

There is a huge discussion on social media about July 5, 2022. On this date, CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, will start the third cycle of its Large Hadron Collider. This machine has been on hiatus for 3 years for upgrades and maintenance. The collider was built in 2008 and has conducted many experiments. In 2012, he managed to discover a rare particle called the Higgs boson. Scientists were so excited by this discovery that they named the particle the “God Particle.” For the July 5 launch, the collider is expected to reach a new energy world record of 13.6 trillion electron volts (13.6 TeV) in some of its collisions. In principle, this acceleration would allow the collider to smash billions upon billions of protons for the chance to produce the Higgs boson, as well as other particles believed to have been created in the early universe.

Social media like TicTok, YouTube and platforms like Reddit have had ongoing discussions and theories about what might happen as a result of this energy. The prevailing claim is that a black hole-like portal will open and this will allow “dark matter” to enter our field. So we are warned to avoid “low energy” on July 5th. Avoid controversy, avoid arguments and avoid anything that can bring you down. Social media warns that people who are in a low energy atmosphere will suffer the most and start behaving in a chaotic and possibly violent way.

I wonder what else we can reason about in this already crazy world we’ve been living in for the last two years. I never thought I would survive a pandemic. I would have never imagined that our city would shut down for almost 12 months, with a very slow return to near normalcy. In fact, we will never be the same before 2020.

Finding out about this event at CERN pushed me to research things I never knew before. The emphasis on the accelerated velocity of the collider possibly producing or detecting “dark matter” intrigued me. According to NASA, dark matter is made up of particles that do not absorb, reflect, or emit light, so they cannot be detected. Dark matter is material that cannot be seen directly.

So basically what they’re saying is that on July 5th there’s going to be this huge event where there’s going to be an acceleration that’s never been done before and it may possibly discover a particle/s that we’ve never seen before were able to identify, but they were definitely part of our world.

OK, I’m interested. Coincidentally, this event will have a director and screening of “Particle fever” and can be seen online on July 3.

There will be a live show on July 4 webcast the countdown to the big event continues. Not sure I’ll tune in to that. I’ll get my book out instead The chariots of the gods, by Erich von Donnicken. This book is a must read. It was written in the late 60’s and I think I’ve read it at least 12 times. This collider, portal, dark matter and black holes make me think of this book. The chariots of the gods are connected with worldly mysteries. How civilizations from centuries ago were able to construct things with great precision.

I once visited Chichen Itza, which is located on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. I was able to climb the ruins and walk around the amazing observatory called El Caracol. This planetarium, if you will, was made with such precise astrological knowledge that to this day scientists cannot explain how such a primitive group as the Mayans were able to build it. All its window openings follow the celestial bodies and carry some astrological meaning. Also, the hieroglyphs in this area are amazing.

Hieroglyphs from the temple of Copan depict a modern space astronaut with flames and gases coming from his feet, suggesting propulsion (from The chariots of the gods.)

in The chariots of the gods, there is a picture of a hieroglyph that looks like a man in a space suit. The question is, how would such a primitive civilization know this? Also, many historians cannot definitively explain what ultimately happened to the Maya. some catastrophic events happened and destroyed most of them.

So what will you be doing on July 5th? Most of us will go back to work on this day. I think it’s good advice, in any case, to keep yours energies high. There is no need to let this pesky dark energy into your world.
